Kevin Walter helps Houston add to Cincinnati's woes
TEXANS 35, BENGALS 6
Wide receiver has two touchdown catches against his former team. Bengals fall to 0-8, within two losses of equaling their worst start ever.
HOUSTON -- Kevin Walter, facing his former team for the first time, caught two touchdown passes to lead the Houston Texans to a 35-6 victory over the winless Cincinnati Bengals.
Walter, a wide receiver, scored one touchdown in three seasons with Cincinnati but set a career high by scoring his fourth and fifth touchdowns of the year Sunday. Matt Schaub threw three touchdown passes and Andre Johnson had his fourth straight 100-yard receiving game.
The win gave Houston (3-4) three consecutive victories in a single season for the first time in franchise history, and dropped Cincinnati to 0-8 for the fourth time. The Bengals are two losses away from their franchise-worst 0-10 start, which came in 1993.
