Update -- Without a victory in 10 games, the Galaxy can break the team mark for futility tonight with another tie or a loss. Coach Bruce Arena's squad will have to do so without its quartet of national team players -- David Beckham, Landon Donovan, Eddie Lewis and Ante Jazic. Only eight games remain in the regular season and the Galaxy is seven points behind the New York Red Bulls, who hold the last wild-card playoff spot. Los Angeles' chance of making the playoffs is more likely to hinge on its ability to finish in the top three in the West than on grabbing a wild-card place, but a couple of victories could change the equation.
