Lobster Festival this weekend in San Pedro

FRIDAY Lobster Festival:

Sup on $17 Maine lobsters with coleslaw and a roll while enjoying music scouted by cutting-edge L.A. rock station Indie 103.1 at the Port of Los Angeles Lobster Festival. Dancing, street performers, parades, a "pirate camp" and tall ships are also on the menu of entertainment. 5 to 11 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday. SATURDAY Drink in Western history:

To keep the history of the West alive, the Autry National Center of the American West hosts a trio of events called "Savor the West: Wine, Whiskey and Song." SUNDAY Barbecue tour of Little Armenia:

LA Commons, which helps facilitate public art in diverse neighborhoods, concludes its summer series "Trekking Los Angeles: Barbecue Adventures in a Global City" with a look at Armenian cultural traditions. Benefit food and wine evening:
