September 20, 2008|Tony Perry

A former counselor at a summer camp for children was sentenced Friday to 34 months in federal prison after pleading guilty to possession of child pornography.

William Joseph Bean II, 24, of Lakeside had 600 images on his computer of children engaging in sexual conduct, according to court documents.

He also admitted to posting pornographic images on the Internet. U.S. District Judge Barry Ted Moskowitz sentenced Bean to 10 years of supervised probation after his prison sentence.
