No. 20 Utah 30, at Air Force 23: Darrell Mack scored three second-half touchdowns, including a nine-yard run up the middle with 58 seconds left, to help the Utes (4-0, 2-0) rally over the Falcons (3-1, 1-1) in a Mountain West Conference game at Air Force Academy, Colo. Utah kept Air Force's vaunted ground game in check, giving up only 53 yards. The Falcons had been averaging 358 yards a game.

at Colorado State 28, Houston 25: Billy Farris threw for 276 yards and two touchdowns and Klint Kubiak preserved the win with an interception in the end zone as the Rams (2-1) beat the Cougars (1-3) at Fort Collins.

at Utah State 42, Idaho 17: Robert Turbin ran for 123 yards in 15 carries and scored one of three fourth-quarter touchdowns for the Aggies (1-3, 1-0) in a victory over the Vandals (1-3, 0-1) in a Western Athletic Conference game at Logan.

at Louisiana Tech 41, Southeastern Louisiana 26: Daniel Porter caught a 44-yard touchdown pass and scored on a 23-yard run to help the Bulldogs (2-1) beat the Lions (2-2) at Ruston.

San Diego 43, at Campbell 7: Seb Trujillo threw for 264 yards and two touchdowns and Phil Morelli had three rushing touchdowns to lead the Toreros (3-0) over the Camels (0-4) at Buies Creek, N.C.

Cal Poly SLO 52, at Northwestern State 18: Jonathan Daily threw for 224 yards and accounted for four touchdowns and James Noble ran for 118 yards in eight carries and a score to help the Mustangs (2-1) beat the Demons (2-2) at Natchitoches, La. Cal Poly took a 14-0 lead when Daily scored on a two-yard run and threw a four-yard touchdown to Ramses Barden, who finished with nine catches for 176 yards. Ryan Mole had a four-yard touchdown run in the third quarter for Cal Poly.

at Azusa Pacific 13, Wisconsin La Crosse 10: Chris Brown scored on a seven-yard run in the first quarter and the defense made big plays for the Cougars (1-3) in the fourth quarter in a victory over the visiting Eagles (0-3).

at Puget Sound 34, Claremont-Mudd 28 (2OT): Kavin Williams passed for 294 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Loggers (2-0) over the Stags (1-1) in overtime at Tacoma, Wash. Casey Larson's four-yard touchdown run in the second overtime gave Puget Sound the lead and the defense stopped Claremont-Mudd quarterback Ryan Larsen at the three-yard line on a fourth-down play to end it.

Pomona-Pitzer 62, at Lewis & Clark 35: Quarterback Jacob Caron rushed for five touchdowns and threw for two more to lead the Sagehens (1-1) over the Pioneers (1-2) at Portland, Ore. Caron completed 24 of 32 passes for 315 yards and had 126 yards rushing in 24 attempts. Andrew Russell had two touchdown runs and 50 yards rushing in 14 carries for Pomona-Pitzer. Kevin Kelley caught nine passes for 125 yards and a touchdown.

Cal Lutheran 16, at Pacific Lutheran 7: Jackson Damron kicked third-quarter field goals of 24, 24 and 29 yards and that was the difference in leading the Kingsmen (1-1) over the Lutes (0-2) at Puyallup, Wash. Derek Martinez had a six-yard touchdown run for Cal Lutheran for its only touchdown.

at Occidental 38, Menlo 28: Bryan Fiorito rushed for 146 yards and two touchdowns and quarterback Justin Goltz passed for 269 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Tigers (2-0) over the Oaks (0-3).

at Redlands 38, Whitworth 7: Quarterback Dan Selway completed 24 of 33 passes for 260 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Bulldogs (2-0) over the Pirates (1-1).
