Boston 4, at Baltimore 0: Josh Beckett pitched seven innings of six-hit ball for his major league-leading 13th win. Kevin Youkilis was four for four with a walk for the Red Sox. In the first two games of the series, he's seven for eight with two homers, three runs batted in and three runs scored.

at Tampa Bay 7, Kansas City 1: Rookie Jeff Niemann pitched eight dominant innings for his 10th win and Carl Crawford hit a two-run homer for the Rays.

Detroit 4, at Cleveland 3 (12 innings): Ryan Raburn singled in the go-ahead run in the 12th inning and finished with three hits.

at Chicago 14, New York 4: Scott Podsednik and Gordon Beckham each had four RBIs, and the White Sox finished with 17 hits.

Toronto 6, at Oakland 5: Aaron Hill hit a three-run homer and a run-scoring single to lead the Blue Jays.

Angels 11, at Minnesota 6: Kendry Morales, Maicer Izturis and Juan Rivera homered for the Angels.
