December 02, 2009

Clippers tonight

VS. HOUSTON When: 7:30.

Where: Staples Center.

On the air: TV: Prime Ticket. Radio: 980, 1330.

Records: Clippers 8-10, Houston 9-8.

Record vs. Rockets (2008-09): 1-3.

Update: A year after finishing 24 games over .500 and extending the Lakers to seven games in the Western Conference semifinals, Houston has struggled to adjust without injured center Yao Ming. Former Laker Trevor Ariza leads the Rockets, averaging 18.2 points per game, and former Oregon standout guard Aaron Brooks averages 16.3 points. "They don't have a guy that really demands a double team like Yao," Clippers small forward Al Thornton said.
