Houston 96, at Philadelphia 91: Aaron Brooks scored 16 of his 19 points in the second half for the Rockets. The 76ers lost their 12th straight, their longest skid since also dropping 12 in a row from Nov. 25-Dec. 20, 2006.

New York 113, at New Orleans 96: The Knicks scored the game's last 18 points to win their fourth straight, their longest winning streak since a six-game run from Jan. 2-13, 2006.

at Cleveland 104, Portland 99: LeBron James had 33 points, seven rebounds and seven assists, and the Cavaliers rebounded from consecutive sloppy road losses.

Atlanta 111, at Toronto 89: Joe Johnson scored 20 points for the Hawks, who cruised to their third straight win.
