Up next for Lakers: Sunday at Detroit

The Lakers will take on a Pistons team that will be without key players, including Richard Hamilton and Tayshaun Prince.

December 20, 2009

Lakers tonight

When: 3 PST.

Where: The Palace at Auburn Hills, Mich.

On the air: TV: Channel 9; Radio: 710, 1330.

Records: Lakers 21-4, Pistons 11-15.

Record vs. Pistons: 1-0.

Update: The Lakers struggled to put away the short-handed Pistons on Nov. 17, getting outplayed in the fourth quarter of a 106-93 victory at Staples Center. Assuming they made it to Detroit from New Jersey, where a snowstorm caused cancellation of flights Saturday night, the Lakers will face a still-depleted opponent. Ben Gordon (ankle), Richard Hamilton (hamstring) and Tayshaun Prince (back) did not play in the Pistons' loss at Oklahoma City on Friday, and Hamilton and Prince have been ruled out for today's game, according to the Detroit Free Press, with Gordon listed as questionable. Prince hasn't played since Oct. 31.
