Update: This is the last of three-game road trip for the Ducks, who are coming off a 4-0 loss at Phoenix on Wednesday in which Ryan Getzlaf's four-game goal-scoring streak was snapped, as was Bobby Ryan's seven-game point streak. In their last three meetings this season, the Ducks were outscored by the division-leading Sharks, 11-4, with center Joe Thornton, the NHL's leading scorer, accounting for four of those San Jose goals plus four assists.
