Cavaliers rally past Pistons

Cleveland overcomes an eight-point deficit to start the fourth quarter to defeat Detroit, 90-80. LeBron James scores 33 points.

Cleveland 90, at Detroit 80: LeBron James scored 33 points and got some timely help from Mo Williams and Daniel Gibson as the Cavaliers overcame an eight-point deficit to start the fourth quarter. With James resting, Williams and Gibson outscored the Pistons by themselves in a 15-2 run to give Cleveland a 73-68 lead. James sealed the win on a driving layup, an assist, a three-point shot and a free throw to put the Cavaliers ahead by nine with 2 1/2 minutes left. Williams had 22 points while Gibson scored all seven of his points in the fourth.

at Boston 109, Minnesota 101: Paul Pierce scored 36 points with eight rebounds and six assists, Ray Allen scored 22 and the Celtics won their 11th straight game despite playing without Kevin Garnett, who was sick. Al Jefferson scored 34 points for the Timberwolves.

Orlando 113, at Toronto 90: Dwight Howard had 29 points and 14 rebounds, Jameer Nelson scored 18 points and 10 assists, and the Magic never trailed in beating the Raptors. Toronto's Chris Bosh was held to 11 points.

at Sacramento 122, Oklahoma City 118 (OT): Kevin Martin scored 37 points and the Kings beat the Thunder in overtime to end a losing streak at eight games. Russell Westbrook had a career-high 34 points for Oklahoma City.
