Authorities pulled a body from the Los Angeles River Sunday morning but said they would not know the circumstances of the man's death until an autopsy was performed.

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department said the Latino man, about 35, was found dead, floating near the 1400 block of East 6th Street. His identity is unknown, according to the coroner's office.
