Galaxy tonight

July 04, 2009|Mario Aguirre

Time: 8.

On the air: TV: FSC, FSE; Radio: 570.

Where: Home Depot Center.

Records: Galaxy 3-3-9, Revolution 4-4-4.

Record vs. Revolution (2008): 0-1-1.

Update: The Galaxy is expected to welcome back forward Landon Donovan, who helped guide the U.S. national team to a second-place finish in the Confederations Cup last week. Donovan leads the club in goals (six) and assists (eight) against the Revolution. The Galaxy will need every bit of it as it looks to end a 10-match winless streak against New England. Their last victory against New England was a 3-2 home win in April 2004. The battered Revolution, dealing with a rash of injuries, will be playing in its fifth game in 14 days.
