The home run was Ramirez's first in exactly two months and put the Dodgers ahead, 1-0. He moved into a tie for 16th place with Jimmie Foxx on the all-time home run list with 534.

Ramirez, who returned to the Dodgers' lineup on Friday night, batted third and started in left field for the second consecutive day. He caught two flyballs in the first inning.

Ramirez last went deep on May 4 in a 7-2 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks at Dodger Stadium.
