St. Louis 5, at Milwaukee 0: Adam Wainwright came within two outs of his first career shutout and Ryan Ludwick and Colby Rasmus homered.

Atlanta 2, at Chicago 1: Javier Vazquez gave up five hits in seven innings. Brian McCann had two RBIs.
