June 05, 2009|Times Wire Reports

Bank of America Corp. said Robert Tillman resigned as a director, one week after lead director O. Temple Sloan Jr. exited.

Tillman didn't have any disagreements with the company, according to the regulatory filing that announced his departure. Bank of America Chairman Walter E. Massey promised to reconstitute the board in April after stockholders voted to oust Chief Executive Kenneth Lewis as chairman.
