Bomb kills U.S. soldier in south

The U.S. military said an American soldier had been killed by a roadside bomb southeast of Baghdad.

A military statement said the Multi-National Division-South soldier was killed in an explosion near Samawa, about 150 miles from Baghdad. A statement also says a Multi-National Division-North soldier died Tuesday as a result of a noncombat incident in the northern province of Nineveh.
