Update: The Kings' new acquisition, winger Justin Williams, is expected to report today. But he has a broken bone in his hand and won't play for two more weeks. After losing the last four games of their five-game trip, six of seven overall and nine of their last 11, the Kings are just about out of the playoff picture. Defenseman Tom Preissing cleared waivers and was sent to Manchester of the American Hockey League. The Stars made only one move on deadline day, claiming center Brendan Morrison on waivers from the Ducks.
