Up next for the Ducks: Minnesota Wild

A preview of Sunday's game between the Ducks and Wild at the Honda Center.

March 08, 2009|Billy Witz

Time: 5 p.m.

On the air: TV: Prime Ticket; Radio: 830.

Where: Honda Center.

Records: Ducks 31-29-8, Wild 31-28-5.

Record vs. Wild: 2-1.

Update: When Bobby Ryan scored a brilliant goal late in the third period in Friday's loss to Dallas, he was teamed with Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry. The Ducks' three burgeoning offensive stars spent much of the period on the same line. But afterward Ducks Coach Randy Carlyle said don't get used to it, that he was going with his gut on what might have worked in that particular game after newly acquired Erik Christensen tired. For the second straight game, the Ducks will be facing a team coming off a loss to the Kings the day before. But Anaheim is a Western Conference-worst 15-14-3 at home.
