Los Angeles Fairfax (27-4) vs.

Westchester (32-2)

at L.A. Southwest College, tonight at 7

Why it matters: It's the third meeting of the season between these Western League rivals, and a berth in the Division I Southern California Regional final Saturday at Pauley Pavilion is at stake. Fairfax has seemingly risen from the dead after losing to Woodland Hills Taft, 67-45, in the City Section semifinals. Junior Jordan Weathers was the big contributor Tuesday in a 79-64 upset of Santa Ana Mater Dei, making seven three-point baskets. Westchester has been relying on its guards all season, led by the newly anointed City player of the year, Dominique O'Connor. In the other semifinal, Taft (27-4) plays at top-seeded Riverside King (29-2) in a rematch of last year's semifinal won by King, 83-82, in overtime. Tickets are $9 for adults, $5 for high school students.

Other boys' games: Division II -- Los Angeles Loyola (25-6) at Thousand Oaks (30-2); Lawndale Leuzinger (26-6) at Rialto Eisenhower (29-3). Division III -- Cerritos Gahr (18-15) at North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake (27-6); Anaheim Canyon (26-6) at Huntington Beach Ocean View (25-7). Division V -- Visalia Central Valley Christian (28-4) at Los Angeles Windward (26-6); Los Angeles Pacific Hills (27-6) vs. El Cajon Foothills Christian (27-5) at Santee Santana.
