Up next for Ducks: Phoenix Coyotes

A preview of Sunday's game between the Ducks and Coyotes.

March 22, 2009|Lisa Dillman

Time: 5 p.m.

On the air: TV: Prime Ticket; Radio: 830.

Where: Honda Center.

Records: Ducks, 34-31-6, Coyotes 30-35-7.

Record vs. Coyotes: 3-1.

Update: Who needs regulation, anyway? The Ducks picked up four points in their last two games in the compelling Western Conference race despite blowing leads in regulation on Wednesday against Nashville and Thursday at Phoenix, beating the Predators in overtime and the Coyotes in a shootout. Forward Bobby Ryan, who has 24 goals this season, is five from tying the club's rookie record of 29, set by Dustin Penner in the 2006-07 season. Oddly enough, the Ducks have nearly the same record at home as they do on the road, recording just one more loss at home.
