Two unrelated shootings over the weekend in Inglewood and the Lynwood area left three people wounded, authorities said.

Sgt. Juan Ferreia of the Inglewood Police Department said a red car stopped in front of a residence in the 3600 block of West 109th Street shortly after midnight, and a passenger got out and began shooting into a crowd gathered for a party.

One person was wounded in the forearm, and another was shot in the back, Ferreia said. Both victims were taken to a hospital in stable condition, he said.

Later, at about 2:15 a.m., a man was shot twice in the head while standing in his driveway in the 2100 block of 118th Street near Lynwood, said Los Angeles County Sheriff's Lt. Silverio Rivas.

The victim, who has not been identified, was in "extremely critical condition."
