West: No. 7 TCU routs San Diego State

Horned Frogs start fast and stay unbeaten after an easy 55-12 win.

No. 6 Texas Christian 55, at San Diego State 12: Andy Dalton threw two touchdown passes and ran for two more to lead the Horned Frogs (8-0, 4-0) over the Aztecs (4-5, 2-3) for their 11th straight. TCU jumped in front with touchdowns on five of their first six possessions. Dalton scored on runs of 13 and seven yards as TCU held a 31-6 halftime lead.

In other games involving Mountain West teams: Jordan Wynn passed for 297 yards and two touchdowns in his first college start to lead No. 17 Utah (8-1, 5-0) to a 45-14 win over visiting New Mexico (0-9, 0-5). . . . Max Hall threw for 312 yards and four touchdowns in just over two quarters, to lead No. 25 Brigham Young (7-2, 4-1) to a 52-0 win over host Wyoming (4-5, 2-3). . . . Quarterback Omar Clayton threw for a touchdown and ran for another to help host Nevada Las Vegas (4-6, 2-4) to a 35-16 win over Colorado State (3-7, 0-6). . . . Kevin Fogler caught a 73-yard touchdown pass and Anthony Wright returned a punt 88 yards for a score to lead Air Force (6-4) to a 35-7 win over visiting Army (3-6).

In Western Athletic Conference games: Bryant Moniz threw four touchdowns and Leon Wright-Jackson ran for a career-best 167 yards and three scores to help host Hawaii (3-6, 1-5) to a 49-36 win over Utah State (3-6, 1-5). . . . Ryan Mathews rushed for 144 yards and three touchdowns to lead Fresno State (6-3, 5-1) to a 31-21 win over visiting Idaho (7-3, 4-2). The Bulldogs had built a 24-0 halftime lead.
