November 12, 2009|Times Staff and Wire Reports

A man was convicted of capital murder for beating a Little Rock TV anchorwoman so brutally that her face was shattered.

Curtis Lavelle Vance, 29, could face the death penalty for the attack on Anne Pressly, 26, at her home in October 2008. The same jury that convicted him reconvened to hear testimony about whether he should be put to death or imprisoned for life without possibility of parole.
