Kings tonight

November 14, 2009|Mark Medina

When: 4:30 PST.

Where: St. Pete Times Forum.

On the air: TV: none; Radio: 1150.

Records: Kings 11-7-2, Lightning 7-4-5.

Record vs. Lightning (2008-09): 0-1-0.

Update: The Kings are playing back-to-back games for the fourth time this season, their second on the road. Erik Ersberg started in goal on Wednesday in the Kings' 5-2 victory against the Carolina Hurricanes, partly because Coach Terry Murray was disappointed with Jonathan Quick's recent play. Quick gave up three third-period goals Monday in a 4-1 loss at Chicago. Ersberg's start against Carolina also gave Quick more time to work on fundamentals during practice with goalie coach Bill Ranford.
