Most people think living in L.A. means there are movie stars and famous people walking around. Well, no.
L.A. is a noisy place. Falling asleep at night, you may hear your neighbors playing strange music, while a loud truck passes by. Other people may be yelling and screaming, like there's no tomorrow.
Another thing is the weather. It rains in the summer and there are heat waves in the winter.
Trash is a big thing. Litter and trash are everywhere. Take Hollywood, for example, Hollywood is one of the grossest and stinkiest places ever! And I'm not kidding. Those are the three problems with L.A.
But not once did I say I didn't like it.

Howl
Griffin, 10
Tarbut v' Torah

A pack of hungry wolves howl like they're cheering for a fast runner in a marathon. In the illuminating moonlight they leap and sprint down cliffs.
A wolf gazes at the bright stars in the dark sky, and wonders why the stars glow like flashlights and look like kites.

Antonyms; opposites, so different, yet so alike. Usually they are either sun or rain. On one of those magical days, they are together; one. You have the urge to run outside and dance, sing to the heavens, scream at the sky, thank the clouds.

Beauty

Beauty is discovering elegance in life. It is when the sunset bolts down the mountains. It is when birds soar above and the clouds dance in the sky and the colors are pink, orange, and golden yellow.
The opposite of beauty is a rainy day -- when all you can see is dark pitch black because the rain casts a shadow.
But, the sadness ends. A giant gorgeous rainbow raises the coast with the brightest colors of red, purple, yellow, blue and much more. For people, beauty is not about the outside, but the grace inside a person.
Beauty is elegance.
