SANTA'S ANIMAL HELPERS: Santa gets amnesia following an accident on his sleigh in the animated holiday special "Merry Madagascar" at 8 p.m. on NBC.

NCIS: The team's investigation into a lieutenant's death is connected to a citywide blackout in this new episode (8 p.m. CBS).

90210: Navid (Michael Steger) decides to confront Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) about her drug use, and Debbie and Harry (Lori Loughlin, Rob Estes) are surprised when Annie (Shenae Grimes) wants to invite Jasper (Zach Sherman) over for dinner (8 p.m. KTLA).

The Biggest Loser: Fashion consultant Tim Gunn ("Project Runway") and hairstylist Tabatha Coffey ("Tabatha's Salon Takeover") help give the remaining six contestants makeovers before they give motivational speeches about their weight loss journeys (8:30 p.m. NBC).

Melrose Place: Former "Melrose Place" regular Heather Locklear returns to her old series cast as the WPK owner who stuns Ella (Katie Cassidy) firing half the staff, including Caleb (Victor Webster), in this new episode (9 p.m. KTLA).

Frontline: Neda Soltani became the face of a powerful movement opposing Islamic hard-liners after she was shot and killed on the streets of Tehran, Iran, during protests over the country's presidential election last summer, when her death was captured on a cellphone camera and uploaded to the Internet (9 p.m. KCET).

WWII in HD: The documentary miniseries reaches its midpoint with "Day of Days," a tense hour that recounts how the Allies found themselves bogged down in the hedgerows of Normandy in the period immediately following D-Day. Gary Sinise narrates (9 p.m. History).

Dancing With the Stars: This new episode features performances by Alicia Keys, Leona Lewis and Barry and Robin Gibb. (9 p.m. ABC).

The Good Wife: Alicia (Julianna Margulies) is caught off guard when Peter (Chris Noth) needs her to testify on his behalf in his appeals process, just as she is preparing to defend a scientist accused of arson (10 p.m. CBS).

Tabatha's Salon Takeover: This new episode visits Eclectic Salon in Los Angeles (10 p.m. Bravo).


Hunt for the Samurai Subs: This new special follows deep-sea explorers traveling to depths of nearly 3,000 feet near Hawaii to explore the wreck of a Japanese I-401 submarine, part of a fleet of incredibly advanced combat subs that Japan intended to use in an attack on a major U.S. Navy base in the Pacific, shortly before the dropping of the atomic bombs forced the country to surrender (6 and 9 p.m. National Geographic).
