Update: Here's a challenge for the Ducks: Chicago was one of the best teams in the NHL before Marian Hossa made his season debut Wednesday and scored two goals in a 7-2 victory over the San Jose Sharks, the top team in the Western Conference. Hossa signed a 12-year, $62.8-million contract in the off-season but underwent shoulder surgery soon after. The Ducks are 3-1 on this homestand after a winless trip. Among the reasons: They're spending more time in their offensive end and goaltender Jean-Sebastien Giguere is on a bit of a roll after playing strictly a backup role.
