West: No. 10 TCU holds off Air Force, 20-17

Horned Frogs stay undefeated with win in cold, wet conditions.

No. 10 Texas Christian 20, at Air Force 17: Andy Dalton threw for 198 yards as the Horned Frogs (5-0, 1-0 Mountain West) beat the Falcons (3-3, 2-1) with temperatures in the teens and a frozen mist and drizzle falling.

No. 18 Brigham Young 59, at Nevada Las Vegas 21: Harvey Unga ran for three touchdowns and 149 yards as the Cougars (5-1, 2-0 Mountain West) defeated the Rebels (2-4, 0-2).

at Wyoming 37, New Mexico 13: Austyn Carta-Samuels passed for three touchdowns as the Cowboys (4-2, 2-0 Mountain West) beat the Lobos (0-6, 0-2) in 15-degree weather after a snowstorm.

Utah 24, at Colorado State 17: Terrance Cain threw an eight-yard touchdown pass to Eddie Wide with 3:40 left as the Utes (4-1, 1-0 Mountain West) beat the Rams (3-3, 0-2).

Idaho 29, at San Jose State 25: DeMaundray Woolridge scored on a five-yard run with just over a minute to play to give the Vandals (5-1, 2-0 Western Athletic) a victory over the Spartans (1-4, 0-1).

at New Mexico State 20, Utah State 17: Kyle Hughes' 28-yard field goal on the final play of the game lifted New Mexico State (3-3, 1-1 WAC) over Utah State (1-4, 0-1).

at Montana 35, Cal Poly SLO 23: Marc Mariani caught six passes for 200 yards and two touchdowns as the Grizzlies (5-0) defeated the Mustangs (2-3).

San Diego 48, at Valparaiso 7: Sam Scudellari passed for 232 yards and three touchdowns as the Toreros (3-2, 2-1 Pioneer League) beat the Crusaders (1-4, 0-2).

Cal Lutheran 48, at Pomona-Pitzer 14: The Kingsmen are 3-1, 2-0 SCIAC. The Sagehens are 2-2, 0-2.

Claremont-Mudd 17, at La Verne 7: The Stags are 3-1, 2-1 SCIAC. The Leopards are 0-4, 0-2.
