Update: Defenseman Drew Doughty didn't skate Sunday after taking a puck to the face during the Kings' 2-1 victory at St. Louis on Saturday, but is expected to play. After giving up seven power-play goals in 11 advantages, the Kings' penalty killers were five for five against the Blues. The Kings haven't lost to the Islanders since Feb. 15, 2003 (4-0-1). John Tavares, the No. 1 pick in the June draft, is averaging 20 minutes 56 seconds per game and leads rookie scorers (two goals, five points).
