Update: After making progress with a 3-2 win against the struggling Minnesota Wild on Wednesday, the Ducks face another team enduring a bumpy start. The Blues have lost three in a row. Former Duck Paul Kariya has recovered well from hip surgery after playing only 11 games last season and has three goals and five points. The Ducks will be without defenseman James Wisniewski because of a sprained right shoulder. He skated for about half of practice Friday.
