Update: Brian Burke, general manager of the Ducks' 2007 Stanley Cup championship team, returns to Anaheim as GM of the winless Maple Leafs, with defenseman Francois Beauchemin among other former Ducks with the Leafs. The Ducks have three consecutive home losses. Goaltender Jean-Sebastien Giguere is unlikely to dress as the backup to Jonas Hiller after aggravating a nagging groin injury Saturday. Luca Sbisa, the 19-year-old defenseman who arrived as part of the Chris Pronger trade to Philadelphia, has been designated for assignment because of concern about his development with the team struggling and will be ineligible to return this season.
