at Colorado 13, Arizona 5: Chris Young hit three home runs for the Diamondbacks, but Seth Smith had two homers and five RBIs for the Rockies, who swept a three-game series.

at Washington 5, Florida 4: Ryan Zimmerman's two-run homer in the ninth ended the Nationals' eight-game skid.

Cincinnati 4, at Atlanta 2 (12 innings): Micah Owings was beaned with the bases loaded to snap a 2-2 tie, and the Reds won their seventh in a row. Owings was OK after the game.

at Pittsburgh 6, St. Louis 5: Garrett Jones' RBI single capped a two-run rally in the ninth and the Pirates ended a nine-game skid.

at Houston 4, Philadelphia 3: Bud Norris got his first win in a month.

at New York 4, Chicago 2: Daniel Murphy had a homer, triple and four RBIs.

San Diego 4, at Dodgers 3: Hiroki Kuroda lost in his first start since Aug. 15.
