Ask Alana about juggling kids and work

September 13, 2009

School has started again, but child care is still an issue for working parents.

With budgets tight, many families are finding it harder to pay for day care, which means Junior might end up sitting on Mom's desk every other Friday.

This month, we're looking for your questions about children and the workplace.

If your child is sick, is it OK for you take a sick day? How to deal with that co-worker who's behind on work because he spends hours on the phone sorting out his children's schedules? And what if the boss' kid is your intern and the boss' kid is not so sharp?

Send your questions to Askalana@latimes.com.
