No. 2 Texas 41, at Wyoming 10: Colt McCoy threw for 337 yards and three touchdowns, and the Longhorns improved to 2-0. The defense held the Cowboys (1-1) out of the end zone and limited them to three for 17 on third down in helping to secure the Longhorns' 15th straight nonconference win, tying a school record established in the 1940s.

at No. 13 Oklahoma 64, Idaho State 0: Freshman Landry Jones threw three touchdown passes in his first start to lead the Sooners (1-1).

at No. 22 Nebraska 38, Arkansas State 9: Zac Lee passed for 340 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Cornhuskers (2-0).

No. 24 Kansas 34, at Texas El Paso 7: Jake Sharp ran for 104 yards and three touchdowns and the Jayhawks moved to 2-0.

at No. 25 Missouri 27, Bowling Green 20: Blaine Gabbert threw two second-half touchdown passes for the Tigers (2-0).

Iowa 35, at Iowa State 3: Ricky Stanzi threw a career-high four touchdown passes and the Hawkeyes (2-0) forced six turnovers.

at Texas Tech 55, Rice 10: Taylor Potts threw seven touchdown passes for the Red Raiders (2-0), one shy of the school record.

at Louisiana Lafayette 17, Kansas State 15: Tyler Albrecht, in his first field-goal try in college, made a 48-yard field goal with 32 seconds left for the Ragin' Cajuns (2-0). Kansas State is 1-1.
