No. 8 Boise State 49, at Bowling Green 14: Kellen Moore threw for 247 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Broncos (4-0) over the Falcons (1-3). Boise State's first six scoring drives took no more than four plays. Moore had 195 passing yards in the second quarter alone and the Broncos piled up 267 yards on the ground. Boise State finished with 529 yards in total offense.

at Central Michigan 48, Akron 21: Dan LeFevour threw four touchdown passes and ran for 140 yards, including two more touchdowns, to lead the Chippewas (3-1, 1-0) over the Zips (1-3, 0-1) in a Mid-American Conference game.

at Temple 37, Buffalo 13: Elijah Joseph returned an interception 95 yards for a touchdown and James Dixon scored on a 92-yard kickoff return to help the Owls (1-2, 1-0) beat the Bulls (1-3, 0-1) in a MAC game.
