Chicago moves into eighth spot in East

Bulls rout Raptors, 104-88, to move one game ahead of Toronto with two games remaining.

Chicago 104, at Toronto 88: Derrick Rose scored 26 points, Joakim Noah had 18 points, 19 rebounds and seven assists and the Bulls took a one-game lead over the Raptors for the final Eastern Conference playoff spot. Luol Deng scored 14 points, Taj Gibson had 11 and Ronald Murray and Hakim Warrick each scored 10 points for Chicago, which led by 25 points. Sonny Weems and Andrea Bargnani each scored 18 points for injury-riddled Toronto, which lost its fifth straight.

at Golden State 120, Oklahoma City 117: Monta Ellis scored 27 points in his return following a two-week absence, Stephen Curry added 25 and the Warriors overcame a 20-point deficit to beat the Thunder. Kevin Durant scored 40 points for Oklahoma City, but missed a three-point shot with one second left.

Miami 111, at New York 98: Dwyane Wade scored 32 points and the Heat pulled into a tie for fifth place in the Eastern Conference with Milwaukee. Michael Beasley added 16 points, and Udonis Haslem and former Knicks forward Quentin Richardson had 14 apiece for Miami, which has won 10 of 11.

Orlando 98, at Cleveland 92: Mickael Pietrus scored all 12 of his points in the fourth quarter and Jameer Nelson hit a big three-point shot in the closing minutes, leading the Magic past the Cavaliers, who rested LeBron James for the third game in a row. Dwight Howard scored 22 points with 13 rebounds and six blocks for Orlando. Delonte West had 21 points and Mo Williams had 19 with nine assists for Cleveland, which finished the regular season 35-6 at home.

at Phoenix 116, Houston 106: Amare Stoudemire had 35 points and 13 rebounds and the Suns made four straight three-point shots during a late 14-0 run. Steve Nash had 23 points and 11 assists for Phoenix, which has won 12 of 14. Luis Scola scored 20 of his 30 points in the second half for the Rockets.

at New Orleans 114, Minnesota 86: Emeka Okafor scored 23 points and the Hornets snapped a losing streak at five games. Darren Collison had 17 points and 11 assists, and fellow rookie Marcus Thornton scored 22 points for New Orleans. Ryan Gomes scored 18 points for the Timberwolves, who played without Coach Kurt Rambis after he was ejected for arguing a call early in the second quarter. Minnesota has lost five straight and 21 of 22.
