Highlights: The sixth annual showcase of 40 jury-selected Oregon craft wineries and 15 of Portland's top chefs takes place in a former World War II ship-building facility.

Sea Chantey Fest
When, where: May 9, Maritime Museum of San Diego
Highlights: The Maritime Museum celebrates traditional songs of the sea aboard its Star of India, the world's oldest active ship. Live music and children's crafts are part of the fun.
Cost: Included with museum admission ($14; $11 for seniors and military; $8, children ages 6 to 17; free for children 5 and younger). During the event, kids 13 and younger get free admission with a paying adult.
