"California Gurls" and "Glee" boys come together when singer Katy Perry (below) and the series' young male stars co-host "Teen Choice 2010," the latest edition of the awards celebrating adolescent fans' pop-culture faves. (Fox, 8 p.m.)


It's a blowout: Tresses will be teased to the extreme as stylists put their hair-raising creations on display in the new reality competition "Hair Battle Spectacular." Former "Baywatch" babe Brooke Burns hosts. (Oxygen, 10 p.m.)


Marisa Tomei won an Oscar for 1992's "My Cousin Vinny." It's time everyone got over that. The actress, who has long since proven herself to be adept at both comedy and drama, is profiled on a new "Biography." (Biography, 7 and 11 p.m.)


Nothing says summer like some lip-smacking, rib-sticking barbecue. Myron Mixon and company return to put the heat to the meat while showing that sauce who's boss on the "seasoned" premiere of  "BBQ Pitmasters."  (TLC, 10 p.m.)


Screaming "Mimi": The special "Mariah Carey: The Adventures of Mimi Tour" features the multi-octave/high-octane singer and all-around diva performing some of her biggest hits at a sold-out concert in Anaheim. (11 p.m. VH1)


Quentin Tarantino directed and Brad Pitt starred, but Christoph Waltz (above) stole the show – and earned an Oscar to boot – as a malicious and multilingual Nazi villain in the violent 2009 WWII tale "Inglourious Basterds." (Showtime, 8 p.m.)
