Update: The Lakers were defeated by 20 points in their first meeting with the Spurs, Jan. 12 in San Antonio. Kobe Bryant was unable to finish that game because of back spasms. Bryant missed Saturday night's game against Portland because of a sprained left ankle. He is listed as questionable for Monday night's game. The Spurs are in the middle of their annual "Rodeo Trip"; this year's will last eight games. The Spurs still have their big three in Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili, but they have tried to infuse young talent like George Hill along with newcomer Richard Jefferson.
