Bobcats stay hot with rout of Suns

Charlotte (19-19) reaches .500 at the latest point in franchise history with a 125-99 victory over Phoenix, whose road struggles continue.

Charlotte, N.C. — Stephen Jackson scored 29 points to surpass 10,000 for his career, Gerald Wallace had 29 points, and the Charlotte Bobcats continued one of their best stretches ever with a 125-99 rout of the Phoenix Suns on Saturday night.

Winning their fourth consecutive game and a team-record seventh straight at home, the Bobcats reached .500 at the latest point in team history. They are 19-19 and tied for sixth in the Eastern Conference.

The Suns have lost 10 of 11 on the road. Amare Stoudemire scored 19 and also reached 10,000 career points.
