Elena Kagan: A June 27 article in Section A about Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan said that Hunter College Elementary School in New York was a private school. It is a public school.
"Dexter": The Smart List column in the June 20 Calendar section said that "Dexter: Season 4" would be released on DVD June 22. It comes out Aug. 17.
"South of the Border": A review of the documentary "South of the Border" in Friday's Calendar section referred to the groundbreaking election that brought Evo Morales to power in Ecuador. Morales was elected president in Bolivia.
"Night Train to Munich": A review of the DVD release of "Night Train to Munich" in Tuesday's Calendar section said that Basil Radford and Naunton Wayne played rugby fanatics in the 1940 British film. They played cricket fanatics.
Outfest: An article in Wednesday's Calendar section about this year's Outfest film festival said a Newsweek article published in April referenced "Glee" star Chris Colfer. The Newsweek article did not reference Colfer, but did reference "Glee" star Jonathan Groff.
Rock Church: An article in the June 7 Section A about community service at Rock Church, a mega-church in San Diego, misidentified the affiliation of researcher Scott Thumma. He works for the Hartford Institute for Religion Research, not the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life.
Stephen Kanner: The obituary of architect Stephen Kanner in Wednesday's LATExtra section said he was honored by the Los Angeles Conservancy for his restoration of the 1932 Bullock's Westwood, on Westwood Boulevard. Kanner was honored for his redesign of a second Bullock's in Westwood, which was originally built in 1955 on Weyburn Avenue.
Obama and immigration: An article in Friday's Section A about President Obama's call to revamp immigration policy said a new Arizona law allows police to question those they suspect of being illegal immigrants after making an unlawful stop. Police are required to check the immigration status of people they suspect are in the country illegally only after they have lawfully stopped, detained or arrested them.
Stephen Strasburg: Bill Plaschke's Sports column Sunday suggesting that the Washington Nationals' rookie fireballer Stephen Strasburg should be named to the All-Star team said no American League hitter has ever seen him. Strasburg has faced three AL teams this season and has a 1-1 record with one no-decision in those games: the Cleveland Indians (a 9-4 win), the Chicago White Sox (no decision) and the Kansas City Royals (a 1-0 loss).
