Igraine the Brave

Cornelia Funke

Igraine, an 11-year-old wizard who lives in Pimpernel Castle, wants to be a knight. Her parents are making her a complete set of armor. But when her parents were making this gift, they accidentally turned themselves into pigs! Red Giant's hair is the only thing that can save them. If that weren't bad enough, Osmund attacks Pimpernel. And then… well, you'll have to read the book.

Arthur and the Recess Rookie

Marc Brown

Francine and Arthur start a kickball competition because they get mad  at each other, because Francine always puts George last on her team and because Francine thinks she is the best player. Arthur thinks Francine is too bossy. Francine disagrees. But we find out It is not good to be bossy or mean  to people.

I like this story because it is a little bit funny and silly.

No Ordinary Mouse

Kate DiCamillo

This book is one of the best books I have ever read. It has two good things. First it has beautiful illustrations. The second thing I like is the adventure that Desperaux goes through. Desperaux reads books instead of eating them. This makes his family mad. Then Desperaux and his pal Roscuro meet a princess who is kidnapped. This book is exciting and everyone should read it.
