Prime choices March 14 - 20

2001's "Band of Brothers" saluted U.S. soldiers' efforts in Europe during WWII -- but that was only half the story. Follow the Marines from beachhead to beachhead across "The Pacific" in a new 10-part miniseries. Jon Seda and Joe Mazzello star. (HBO, 9 p.m.)

Whether sitting in an NFL owner's box or chastising an ex-beau on "Oprah," a girl has got to look her best. And so a certain singer-actress embarks on a worldwide quest for style tips in the travelogue "Jessica Simpson's The Price of Beauty." (VH1, 10 p.m.)

Apparently, the long arm of the law extends from 19th century South Dakota all the way to present-day Kentucky, as "Deadwood's" Timothy Olyphant (below) takes up badge and gun to play a U.S. Marshal once again in the new action drama "Justified." (FX, 10 p.m.)

After the season premiere of "South Park," a put-upon social-services case worker helps assorted scary monsters and super creeps assimilate into polite society in the new animated comedy "Ugly Americans." (10 and 10:30 p.m. Comedy Central)

Last fall, when everyone in the world passed out for 2 minutes, 17 seconds, some of us got a glimpse of the sci-fi series "FlashForward" returning this month with all-new episodes. Dominic Monaghan, Joseph Fiennes and John Cho star. (ABC, 8 p.m.)

Indie darling Natasha Khan (above), known to alt-music fans as Bat for Lashes, joins fellow British rockers Starsailor and Berkeley-bred punk band Green Day on the in-studio concert series "Live From Abbey Road." (Sundance, 8 p.m.)

In what sounds like a cross between "The Green Mile" and the John Travolta flick "Phenomenon," a humble janitor discovers he has miraculous "Healing Hands" in this new made-for-cable movie. Eddie Cibrian and Lisa Sheridan star. (Hallmark, 9 p.m.)
