"Charlie Bone and the Castle of Mirrors"
Jenny Nimmo
I haven't finished this book yet, but it is mysterious so far. I like it because it has a lot of mysteries. Charlie Bone's friend, Billy Raven, is getting adopted by the deGreys. The house is called the Passing House. When the deGreys leave, Billy is trapped in the house.
I thought they were going to be entering the Castle of Mirrors right away. But then this guy Manfred shows up. He tries to create this ghost horse, but then somebody sneezes and the horse runs away and makes a huge hole in the wall.
Anybody who likes books that are mysterious will love this book. It has wizards in it who are kids. I can't wait to read the next one.

"Jenny Archer to the Rescue"
Ellen Conford
This is a great book. It is about a girl who tries to be a hero by saving somebody's life. She thinks there is fire and calls 911. But actually it is someone burning trash. If you want to find out if she saves someone read this book.
I like this book because it shows you how to be safe and protected. Also, I like it because she is a funny girl with a funny imagination. I sometimes imagine I am Jenny Archer.
Ellen Conford tried to explain that you don't always have to be a hero to be important.

"Chrissa ( American Girl Today)"
Mary Casanova
Chrissa the American Girl is a fabulous book that tells you many different details. It includes a moral that when you have been bullied, tell an adult right away. A girl named Sonali stops being a bully and turns out to be a friend of Chrissa. This book inspired me because a friend of mine has been bullied. So, I learned to stand up for others. That's called fortitude. This book talks about friendship and being yourself even when people do not like you.

"Mike and Irene"

First of all, Mike and Irene were on a plane and were having fun. They were flying on a pretty day and it was so exciting on the plane that they were screaming loudly. They flew high in the sky, real high. The passengers thought the plane caused the clouds to write messages to them. It was exciting when they flew high in the sky.
