Update: The Galaxy, which ousted the Seattle Sounders in the first round, has not lost a home playoff match since 1998, when it fell to the Chicago Fire. It is 20-2-1 all-time in home playoff games and has outscored its opponents, 57-17. A victory Sunday would put Los Angeles into its seventh MLS Cup final in the 15-year history of the league. It has won two and lost four. Dallas has never reached the final. If Sunday's game ends in a tie, it will go to overtime and then to penalty kicks to determine the winner.
