POP MUSIC

David Guetta Amid the cross-pollination between hip-hop and dance music, the French producer and house DJ has parlayed clubland success in Europe into crossover appeal, thanks to collaborations with such artists as Kelly Rowland, Akon, the Black Eyed Peas and Kid Cudi. He brings his catalog of upbeat grooves laced with catchy guest vocals to Hollywood just before of the release of his latest album, "One More Love," out at the end of the month. Hollywood Palladium, 6215 W. Sunset Blvd., L.A. 8 p.m. $79.25. (323) 962-7600. http://www.livenation.com.

EVENTS

L.A. Auto Show More than a dozen cars will make their world debut at this year's show, including never-before-seen concept cars from Cadillac, Honda, Nissan and Range Rover, many of them electric or hybrids. The city best known for its inescapable auto culture will also host the North American premiere of quite a few more in the course of the show's 10-day run (including Thanksgiving). L.A. Convention Center, 1201 S. Figueroa St., L.A. Today-Nov. 28. Hours vary. $12. http://www.laautoshow.com.

Ice skating Just because you live in L.A. doesn't mean you can't conjure up an East Coast-style winter wonderland for yourself. Come downtown to Pershing Square for a spin around the ice rink, and, if you squint, it'll be just like Rockefeller Center. Well, almost. Pershing Square Park, 532 S. Olive St., L.A. Today-Jan. 18. Mon-Thurs, noon-10 p.m., Fri-Sun, 10 a.m.-10 p.m. One-hour sessions: $6; skate rental: $2. (213) 847-4970. http://www.laparks.org.

MOVIES

Class of 1984 Cinefamily calls all disaffected, bitter and downright nasty punks to show up for "Class of 1984," which it describes as "one of the most vicious and hateful exploitation movies of the '80s." Director Mark L. Lester's disturbed masterwork features rabid packs of bloodthirsty teen gangs roaming our schools … and also, apparently, a scene in which the sweetest of '80s faces, Michael J. Fox, gets stabbed. Come for the poisonous imagery; stay for the subsequent Q&A with Lester. The program begins with "Destroy All Movies!!!" a Mondo megamix of punks on film. 611 N. Fairfax Ave., L.A. 9:15 p.m. Today-Sun. $10. (323) 655-2510.
