Parker Palm Springs: Winter room sale starts at $135 per night

The Parker Palm Springs resort has a winter sale on room rates through January. And here’s the best part: You have until midnight Tuesday to book – great for Black Friday or Cyber Monday refugees who didn’t find the sale of their dreams.

The deal: Travel + Leisure once proclaimed that Palm Springs’ "mod renaissance kicked off with Jonathan Adler’s whimsical redo of Parker Palm Springs."  I can handle quirky design, especially when it comes with a good price during the high season, not during the super-heated desert summer.

Here's the hotel's special Web page that features this deal. Rooms start at $135 per night for the month of December and $175 in January; prices don’t include tax or resort fee. Use the code "LTOPPS" to get this deal. (Note: I wasn't able to track down this offer through the hotel's regular homepage, so I suggest you use the link above.)

When: You may make reservations until 11:59 p.m. Tuesday for stays from Dec. 1 through Jan. 23.  Blackout dates are Dec. 30-Jan. 2 and Jan. 7-9.

Tested: I went online and found a room under the deal for $135 plus tax and fees for the night of Dec. 10. The same room on the same night without the deal cost $255 plus tax and fees. Note that a$30-per-night resort fee applies to all room rates, and free Wi-Fi and Internet come with the room.

Contact: Parker Palm Springs, (760) 770-5000.
