VS. DALLAS

When: 1 PDT.

Where: Staples Center.

On the air: TV: Prime Ticket; Radio: 1150.

Records: Kings 44-27-6; Stars 38-27-11.

Record vs. Stars: 2-1-1.

Update: The Kings have made a strong push, going 17-5-5 in the last two months, and have a firm hold on a playoff spot. But there are concerns. The Kings have lost their top two scorers, Anze Kopitar and Justin Williams, to injuries. Dustin Penner, a trade-deadline pickup from Edmonton, has two goals in 14 games since the trade and has not scored a point in the last seven games. The Stars' playoff hopes are slipping away after one win in their last eight games, including a 6-0 loss at San Jose on Thursday.
