The Ducks need two points to clinch a playoff spot. Goaltender Ray Emery, who left Wednesday's 6-2 rout of San Jose because of a lower-body injury, did not practice Thursday but said he felt a lot better than he anticipated. If he can't start, Dan Ellis would start. Right wing Corey Perry is making a strong push for most-valuable-player honors with a league-leading 50 goals and with 97 points, only three behind leader Daniel Sedin.
